Only 340 metres from Palombaggia Beach, this small 4-star property offers a rare kind of hospitality: six suites built in local stone, a large landscaped pool with two natural basins, a spa, and a gourmet restaurant opening onto umbrella pines. To furnish the area around its pool and extend the pine forest to the water's edge, Hotel Ambassador Palombaggia called on MX Home — first in spring 2025, then twice more the following year.

A project built over time
It is rare for a client to return three times in less than a year. Yet that is exactly the story of Ambassador Palombaggia, which phased its furnishing project the way one composes a collection: a first wave to set the poolside scene, a second to refine the textile details, a third to carry the momentum into the following season. A mark of trust whose value we fully appreciate.
Eight double sunbeds, the centrepiece of the poolside
At the heart of the project: eight double sunbeds, in raffia beige finish. Designed as true outdoor daybeds, they are made to withstand intensive hotel use and the demands of the island climate:
- UV-resistant, stain-resistant, hypoallergenic fabric
- Removable cover, machine washable at 30 °C
- Integrated headrest, custom embroidery optional
A single sun lounger in white raffia with coral embroidery completes the set — a subtle chromatic variation that structures the space without breaking its coherence.
A marine identity in the background
Around the pool, the MX Home signature is introduced with restraint: an XL starfish pouf and an XL shell pouf recall the nearby shoreline and the beauty of the species that inhabit it. Fourteen raffia beige cushions — including two with coral embroidery — add rhythm to the terraces and suites. A Dolce Vita print rectangular pouf brings a sun-drenched touch that brightens the whole setting.
Why raffia beige works with Corsican pink stone
The architecture of the Ambassador is built entirely in local pink stone. It is within this chromatic dialogue that raffia beige comes into its own: the sandy tone softens the building's mineral character, captures Mediterranean light without glare, and lets the umbrella pines take centre stage. Three seasons later, the colour still holds — without losing any of its radiance.
