At MX Home, we see modular design as a way of life: clean lines, premium materials – from bouclé wool to natural linen, including washed white cotton

– and a responsible approach to material choices for long-lasting pieces.

What is a modular sofa?A modular sofa is a system of independent modules

(seats, backs, corners, connectable poufs) that you assemble freely. It allows you to create a straight, L-shaped, or U-shaped sofa. The result: an adaptable sofa, easy to reconfigure as your needs change.

Is a modular sofa comfortable?

Yes, comfort depends on the modules and filling chosen (HR foam or recycled beads depending on the model) as well as the fabric.

Bouclé wool and velvets enhance the cozy feeling. Can modules be added later?

Of course. That’s the advantage of modular: you can evolve your setup as your needs change.

What seat depth should I aim for?

About 55–65 cm for a “conversation” support, 70–80 cm for a very relaxed lounge. It’s still ideal to dress your sofa with cushions.
