Shipping Policy — MX HOME

This page sets out the preparation times, transit times, delivery charges, and terms applicable to orders placed on the website m-x-home.com.

1. Preparation times

Orders are generally prepared and dispatched within 4 to 8 business days, excluding exceptional periods, stock shortages, restocking, or specific manufacturing or production.

Once the order has been dispatched, transit time depends on the carrier, the delivery area, and the nature of the order.

2. Delivery in mainland France

For standard orders shipped to mainland France, delivery is generally provided by DPD, against signature.

  • Indicative transit time : 4 to 7 business days after dispatch.
  • Rate : free delivery for standard orders, excluding beds, sofas, and bulky orders.

3. Delivery in Europe

For standard orders shipped within Europe, delivery is generally provided by DPD, against signature.

  • Indicative transit time : 5 to 8 business days after dispatch.
  • Rate : from 25 €, depending on the products ordered, the quantity, and the destination country.
  • Beds, sofas, and bulky orders : specific delivery charges, generally from 150 €.

4. International delivery outside Europe

Deliveries outside Europe are handled on request and may be subject to a specific quotation. For any international request, the Customer may contact us at the following address: contact@m-x-home.com.

Customs duties, local taxes, or import charges may be payable depending on the destination country. Where applicable, these charges are borne by the Customer.

5. Bulky orders

Certain orders, due to their size, weight, or composition, require delivery by a specialist carrier. This applies in particular to sofas, beds, and more generally to orders including several bulky items.

These deliveries may be handled by specialist carriers such as Geodis or Kuehne + Nagel.

  • Indicative transit time : 6 to 10 business days after dispatch.
  • Rate : specific charges depending on the order, volume, weight, and delivery area.

6. Delivery to the doorstep

For bulky orders, delivery is generally made at the building or house entrance, according to the principle of so-called "doorstep delivery".

Unless specifically agreed in advance, the carrier does not unpack the goods, remove the pallet, or carry items upstairs, even where a lift is available.

The Customer must provide the necessary means to receive the parcels and move them to the final place of use. It is strongly recommended to ensure that a person able to receive and handle the parcels is present on the day of delivery.

If the delivery location is not easily accessible, for example if truck access is impossible, the road is a dead end, the path is narrow, or there are major constraints, a second delivery or delivery to a more accessible point may be required. Any corresponding charges may be invoiced to the Customer.

7. Stock, shortage, or delay

MX HOME does its best to keep items in stock. However, some products may be subject to production, manufacturing, restocking, or supply delays.

In the event of a stock shortage or significant delay, the Customer will be informed as soon as possible.

8. Receipt of the order

The Customer is required to check the apparent condition of the parcels at the time of delivery. In the event of a visible issue, including a damaged, open, wet, crushed, or missing parcel, the Customer must raise specific and detailed reservations with the carrier, or even refuse the parcel if necessary.

Where possible, we recommend checking the contents of the parcel in the presence of the carrier and taking photos of the packaging, the shipping label, and the products concerned.

The Customer must then contact MX HOME as soon as possible at the following address: commercial@m-x-home.com, attaching any information useful for processing the request.

9. Parcel marked as delivered, lost, or stolen

If the carrier’s tracking shows that the parcel has been delivered, including with proof of delivery or signature, the Customer must report the situation to the carrier concerned so that an investigation may be opened.

MX HOME may assist the Customer with the process with the carrier, provided that it has the information necessary to handle the case.

10. Parcel returned to sender

If a parcel is returned to MX HOME due to an address error, prolonged absence, unjustified refusal, failure to collect from a pickup point, or any delivery impossibility attributable to the Customer, the reshipment costs may remain the Customer’s responsibility.

11. Contact

For any question relating to delivery, the Customer may contact MX HOME at the following address: commercial@m-x-home.com.
